Jessie's 21st Legacy Ride

Come help us honor Jessica Lunsford. Proceeds will help the Guardians of The Children, a support and advocacy nonprofit for abused children. Jessie's 21 Year Legacy Ride reminds us of the true and terrible tragedies that can occur to the smallest, youngest, and most vulnerable of our communities. Jessica's story can be read in detail at Morbidology's True Crime publication here. Please be warned, it is not a gentle tale.

This young 9 year old child was abducted, sexually assaulted, and buried alive in garbage bags by convicted sex offender John Evander Couey. This year in 2026 marks the 21st year of remembrance of Jessica's plight and the movement it inspired to create what is now known as "Jessica's Law", a law that requires a minimum of 25 years to a maximum of life in prison for first-time child sex offenders. What began in Florida has now passed in nearly all states across the country.
